Alaska 2018
After going up the Inside Passage of British Columbia and Alaska last summer, I decided I wanted to see the interior of Alaska as well. So in June 2018, I flew to Fairbanks and then joined a Road Scholar trip to three national parks: Denali, home of majestic mountains and the highest peak in North America; Katmai, with the volcanic Land of Ten Thousand Smokes and iconic brown bears; and Kenai Peninsula and Seward, showcasing mountains, a vast glacier, and marine wildlife.
